Word Changer (wordchanger.net) is run by ReputePost, LLC, 1111b South Governors Avenue, Dover, DE 19904, USA. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, and why.

Do you keep the text I put into the Word Changer tool?

Only if you're on a paid plan. If you use the tool as a guest or on the free plan, we don't keep your text after the result is returned. If you're on a paid plan, we keep a copy of each run (your text and the result) for up to 90 days, then delete it.

To produce your rewrite, we send your text to one of our AI providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (Gemini) or DeepSeek. They process it to return the result, under their own data terms. We never sell your text, and other users never see it.

What else should I know?

You can use the word changer without an account, an email address, or a credit card. If you use it without an account, we count your free daily tokens against your IP address, and we keep that count and a record of the tokens used.

Like any website, our servers receive your IP address and browser details when you load a page, and record them in their access logs.

We use cookies like this

When you first visit, we ask before loading any analytics. Nothing in the list below runs until you choose Accept, and choosing Decline means it is never loaded. You can change your answer at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer, and you can still block or delete cookies in your browser's own settings.

Two things are exempt from that choice, and we want to be straight about why. Cloudflare Turnstile runs a bot-check when you use the tool, which is needed to deliver the service you asked for. And our own visit counter records the page you viewed without setting a cookie, reading anything from your device, or identifying you.

Here's every vendor that sets a cookie once you accept, and why: Google Tag Manager loads our other tags and Google Analytics measures anonymous traffic and usage patterns. Microsoft Clarity records session replays — mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling — so we can see how the site is actually used, and may share data with Microsoft Advertising (Bing). Cloudflare Turnstile sets a cookie when it runs its bot-check on our sign-up and contact forms. None of these vendors can see what you type into the rewriting tool itself.

Third-party advertisers may also track visits across sites to display relevant ads, though they cannot access anything you type into the tool. This privacy policy doesn't cover data collected by them, so please refer to those providers' own policies.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand anonymous, non-identifiable usage patterns and traffic sources: which pages are popular, and where visitors come from. None of this is tied to you personally.

Accounts and billing

If you create an account, we store your name and email address, your plan and your token balance so we can run your account. If you sign up with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us.

Payment, usage and dispute records

To take payments, prevent fraud and answer payment disputes, we keep:

• your account details (name and email address) and when you created your account;
• when you signed in, with the IP address and browser information used;
• your purchases and subscription history: plan, amounts, dates, receipts, and the terms you accepted at checkout;
• when tokens were added to your account and when you used them;
• the billing emails we sent you.

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe records details of each payment, such as the IP address and device used, to process it and prevent fraud. When you start a checkout, we also send Stripe the IP address and browser information you used, with the order. Emails are sent through SendGrid.

We keep these records while your account is open and for up to 24 months after your last payment, then delete them unless the law requires us to keep them longer (for example, tax records). We rely on our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
