This document outlines the Terms of Use for your use of Word Changer. By using the site, you agree to these terms and confirm that you can legally be bound by them. We may revise these terms by updating this page, so please review it periodically. If you disagree with the terms, you should not access the service.

About the Terms of Use

Word Changer makes no claims that its products and services are suitable for any specific purpose or audience. We disclaim responsibility for damages resulting from unauthorized or improper access. Your use of the site is at your own risk.

If any term becomes invalid, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Non-enforcement of a provision does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement rights.

Using the Service

If you register an account, you must keep the personal information you provide current. Access to the service should only be through the provided interface. Automated access methods such as scripts and web crawlers are prohibited.

Your Text

To produce your rewrite, the text you submit is sent to an AI provider, which returns the result. If you use the tool as a guest or on the free plan, we don't keep your text after the result is returned. If you're on a paid plan, we keep a copy of each run (your text and the result) for up to 90 days, then delete it. Your text is never shown to other users, and we never sell it. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and why.

Plans and automatic renewal

Word Changer offers these paid plans:

• Monthly: $3.99 a month, with 150,000 tokens each month.
• Yearly: $39.99 a year, with 2,100,000 tokens each year and priority support.

Both plans include every writing mode and every language. The pricing page shows what each plan includes.

• Your plan starts as soon as your payment goes through. The tokens for that period are added to your account straight away.
• Plans renew automatically. We charge the card or payment method you used at the start of each new billing period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel.
• We email you 30 days and 7 days before a yearly plan renews, and once a year on any plan, with your plan, the amount, the renewal date and how to cancel.
• Unused tokens don't carry over to the next period.
• Prices are set in US dollars. Stripe, our payment processor, may show and charge the price in your local currency. Your bank may add its own fees.
• If we change a plan's price, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price. You can cancel before then.
• If you're on a plan we no longer sell, or subscribed at an earlier price, it keeps renewing at its price, billing period and token amount until you cancel.

How to cancel

You can cancel at any time, in any of these ways:

1. Sign in, open your account page, choose Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription.
2. Without signing in: go to Stripe's billing page for Word Changer, enter the email address on your subscription, and use the link Stripe emails you.
3. Email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to cancel. We'll confirm by email.

Cancelling stops the next charge. Your plan stays active, and you can keep using your tokens, until the end of the period you've already paid for.

See our Refund Policy. It is part of these Terms.

Payment disputes

If a charge looks wrong, please email [email protected] first. We aim to reply within 2 business days, and we refund duplicate or mistaken charges.

If you dispute a charge with your bank, we will share our records of your purchase, the terms you accepted and your use of the service with Stripe and your bank.

Liability and Indemnity

While we strive for accuracy, mistakes may occur. The service provides no warranties about reliability or results. We are not responsible for any loss, alteration, or corruption of submitted content, and we disclaim responsibility for third-party content with no obligation to review or remove such material.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Nothing in these Terms takes away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.
